I was so happy when I found out I could play the game online again. Used to play this on my PS3. Thank you very much for keeping the servers up. Hope we see each other on the battlefield. Cheers!
By the way, I was surprised to see a community this active. I would never have guessed.
Also, what is your stance on using exploits (such as jump-mage, ghost-riding, going out of the map boundaries, etc.)?

Its a very cool game that didnt deserve to get the official EA servers shut off. The most players play on evening from 17 GMT on weekends often to late night. On early afternoon there is often also pretty much activity. Also dont get scared away from the many good players. Most of them play the game for 3 years or more. That means that the "skill standard" is very high nowadays. New noobie players probably need iron discipline to not ragequit. There are also some real noobs that play almost only on private servers with boring NPC battles. But they are often forgotten because they are not really a part of the community (they dont register on forums). All in all many players still play this game and that 6 years after the game was published! We also still have some clans. The main ones are: BC, LC, VaLaR, DC, eQ, TacTic. Here you find a list with links: cnqreboot.proboards.com/thread/457/links-clans-groups

Also, what is your stance on using exploits (such as jump-mage, ghost-riding, going out of the map boundaries, etc.)? That depends on your definition of an exploit and how and when you use them. It goes without saying that the game is at first glance simple and repetitive (probably why it got such bad reviews from people who only scratched the surface) with combos scarcely more advanced than a warrior's lll-mm-h-ls-ms-hs. In one sense, any mechanic of the game that goes beyond the developer's foreseen/intended metagame is an exploit. Zoroastre's infinite combo is an "exploit" - but what is he exploiting? The game's motion mechanics/physics - no easy feat, and those with the knowledge and precision to implement such a technique fully merit any and all rewards; one's own seeds so seldom one reaps. Lightning-jump-cancelling and jump-cloaking (I assume this is what you mean by "ghost riding") are "exploits", but where would those classes be if not for those techniques? Scout and mage are by far the hardest classes to play WITH those techniques. So if by exploit you mean things that add to the game's depth and metagame advancement, then the unanimous answer to your question is that we welcome them gladly, for by such as these is the game kept ever fresh - being neither simple nor repetitive. I could count on one hand the number of exploits that are really considered off the table in regular games; infinite arrow specials glitch, double heroes, etc.. Then there are things that are more ambiguous, such as scout rolling with the Ring. This is where you consult your conscience. Think: is this a cheap tactic and how likely is it that I'll be scolded for using it? Maybe a little and very likely. Would scoring a point by roll-backstabbing the Ringbearer into his score zone be epic and/or induce widespread laughter? Totally! The worst "exploits" aren't even mechanical imo. Camping in an elevated, fortified position such as the hobbit hill, Minas Tirith stairs, etc. is exploitative to an unholy degree, especially when you get a shield generator up there with you. As for glitching outside of map boundaries, again, use your judgement and common courtesy. Think: do I have the Ring? Is my absence working to balance or unbalance the match? Is this opportune shot from on high going to stir my conscience and/or incite well-warranted vendettas against me and my descendants to the fourth generation? Welcome back to the game!

Ghost riding is when you control both the horse/warg and the rider without your character actually riding it; you're playing as you would normally (you see from your character's perspective) but with the animal following your commands. I'm not exactly sure how to do this glitch. It gives you no real advantage as you can't sprint with the animal, and its attack doesn't do much damage, but it sure was hilarious when all of the sudden you see a warg with no orc on him slowly trotting his way towards you.
Anyways, thank you all for the warm welcome and for taking your time giving me tips and introducing to the community!!

Alright, I'll be sure to download it, thanks. I don't have a PS4, no. Since my PS3 overheated, I've been a strong advocate for pc gaming only.
