It seems the game has to die before the forum becomes alive.
I have never seen so many long posts

EA days were great for me. Cant really say if better than Tunngle. I enjoyed them both for different reasons. On EA i was with other polish players. We played clanwars nearly every weekend (beaten only by TLF and once KZ (group of best players from Germany, mix of players from WoP, BLOD and TLF, really really strong)). It really was fun to play everyday with a bunch of polaks, discover new glitches, own TLF noobs. I miss those times aswell and could write for hours about them. I started as warrior/scout main. But had to change to archer because of TheHobbit. I was the only one who could keep up with him at start tbh (how many times we both scored over 200 kills). He always picked easier site to camp, so i guess thats why i learnt how to play on weaker ones with archer. I still think i was the best EA PC archer (Noobs from TLF if you ever read it. Get on my level ) We didnt have any ranked games or leaderboards, but i guess it was better. We could play on much better TLF servers (less lagg, good ping, ever1 from EU was happy). Most raging PC players on Tunngle were probably my polish KOTT mates. Even tho "no scout ring rolling" rule was invented because of me (SOME ppl didnt like 2 minutes of CTR, they wanted archer killfest for TheHobbit for moar 200 kills screens LUL). Mage spam, archer spam, ctr rolling, using ents trolls etc. = noobs. Also i agree with Ang, if not for EA closing servers. We probably would never meet and enjoy this game together. EA PC was dying anyways, atleast KOTT. Many players left us(mainly thx to Morgoth, who was changing clans like every 2 weeks. From KOTT to TLF to KOTT to GLA, etc.) that we nearly decided to disband our clan. BTW. Does any xbox player know if OneShot played on PC on EA? Sometimes there was a guy XIOneShotIX (or sth like that) and he was on very high level of skill. Just curious if it was just coincidence, and some random player just played on this i guess popular nick or if it really was OneShot

Never really had much interaction with them (except for few notable members lol) FRH that was a clan we 4vs6-8 in clanwars and still could win. We did 4v5 with them after some me and KOTT members (me, Morg, Radai, Cuendae) came back on Tunngle. memberfiles.freewebs.com/70/07/76770770/photos/Pre-Empire-vs-FRH/cw5.jpgmemberfiles.freewebs.com/70/07/76770770/photos/Pre-Empire-vs-FRH/cw6.jpgmemberfiles.freewebs.com/70/07/76770770/photos/Pre-Empire-vs-FRH/cs7.jpgNever seen them after those games <3 Wish i had xfire screens saved somewhere. I knew Oneshot from Xbox. Amazing scout as I recall, although we never used the re-cloaking. When he learned about it, he commented how trivially easy it made it to play scout.
@ang, Arrow glitching wasn't really such a big deal on Xbox imo as not too many people knew how to do it. One of those people was the founder of the Black Council, Experiment187. He may have claimed to have discovered it. I'm sure it was a deliberate plan to increase BC's notoriety. The shit talk was really incredible in those days!
I used to spam fire at the wall just to show that I could, let people think I was cheating. But it was just too hard to use in-game. You can stand there and spam multi-shots if you get good at it, but fire/poison glitching are HARD to do while moving around (although I had started practising...). You have to put your fingers in all the wrong places on the controller, and in the meantime you are dead.
There were just "certain people" who did the spamming. It was not nearly as annoying as "camping the hill" in the Shire HTDM. I eventually devised a location in the back of Evil Spawn where you could hit the !#$@ers on the hill without being hit (you could shoot through one of the crates if you got close enough, but it protected you from being hit from the other side). Unfortunately I never had the patience for that kind of long distance play.

Arrow glitch is much easier on keyboard imo. Bah you could even macro it on some keyboards. 99% chance of success just by clicking one button (3 buttons for fire/poison/multi arrow glitch) (sometimes it failed due to lagg) and you could do it easily while moving etc.
