With his death some sort of time has ended and things will be different for better or worse. Definetely someone you cant pass without notice. Maybe i kinda hoped to see him in more lotr movie, i dont know how but why not. Now its over.

Great actor, Im glad he played Saruman instead of Gandalf who Tolkien wanted him to play.
"End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it...........White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise."

Its true that Tolkien wanted Lee to play Gandalf, but he finally played a good Saruman in Hobbit. And Gandalf when he became White he described himself, as Saruman what should have been. So in some kind of way, Lee pulled it off, aided by stuntman with digital face and speaking to air in Rivendell but who cares.

Very sad indeed. “Human stories are practically always about one thing, really, aren't they? Death. The inevitability of death. . . . . . (quoting an obituary) 'There is no such thing as a natural death. Nothing that ever happens to man is natural, since his presence calls the whole world into question. All men must die, but for every man his death is an accident, and even if he knows it he would sense to it an unjustifiable violation.' Well, you may agree with the words or not, but those are the key spring of The Lord Of The Rings”
- J.R.R. Tolkien
