Hello all! Laiebi and I spoke and have determined the rules for the february event!

Now... for this particular event Lai and I came up with some pretty different formats for the map/modes. Not sure how all of these will work, but at the very least we hope they will be fun!
Server Rules
20min time limit for all maps
100kill TDM
2000pts CNQ
5 cap CTR
Heroes: Enabled (but must not be used for protect-kill-the-mage mode)
Also, Lai and I were thinking we would like to try this CW without fake names. Everyone is welcome to use whatever names they like tho, but it would be fun/maybe easier to make these events work if we know for sure who ppl are
First/Second maps: MTT TDM / Osgiliath TDM
- protect-kill-the-mage mode
- 1x mage/7x scout both teams
- heroes must NOT be used in this game mode
- by the end of the game, the team that killed the other team's mage the most wins!
Third/Fourth maps: Weathertop CNQ
- king-of-the-hill mode
- 4x arch cap for attackers and defenders, attackers can only have 2x mages, trolls/siege tools are allowed
- good defends, evil attacks
- all of good's team must start by running and capping the top command point immediately. Evil will need to capture all three lower command points immediately. Then, the game can begin (before this point, no one can attack). As soon as evil finishes capping all 3x pts on the bottom of the map, the race is on! Good is not allowed to re-cap any command points. Whoever controls the top command point at the end of the game is the winner
Fifth/Sixth maps: Mount Doom CTR / Minas Morgul CTR
- 50/50-tenet-split (lol)
- each half-team is required to fill a 1/1/1/1 for archer/warr/mage/scout
- this one is a little complicated. Basically, half of each team will play on each side. So each map, Lhii/Lai's teams will be split between good/evil. We expect this to
result in a lot of 4v4 action and friendly fire. Both team captains will make sure to communicate properly to their players where they are going/which side they should play on
- At the end of the game, whichever team (NOT faction, but Team e.g. Team Lhii, Team Lai) has the most ring captures will win
Seventh/Eighth maps: Pelennor CNQ / Shire CNQ
- mounts-and-siege-only
- all mounts (ents, trolls, wargs, horses) are enabled and HEAVILY ENCOURAGED!!!
- all siege equipment found across the maps is also enabled and usable
- if you are unable to find siege equipment/mount to use, you are welcome to use whatever character you have but without special abilities (no shielding, no healing, no firewalling, no zooming, no blocking, no axing/bombing, no stealth, no backstabs). jump attacks, non-jump-cancelled-lightning attacks, standard melee attacks, non-zoomed arrows, kicks, mage melee are all permitted
- heroes are enabled, but the same rules apply to them
TIEBREaKER IF NEEDED: Mount Doom HTDM
- only archer heroes allowed
- Team Lhii goes evil, Team Lai goes good
Obviously this event is a little different than other ones. We hope that everyone enjoys the new formats, maybe if we find some that are interesting we can continue to refine them somewhat. Or if they don't work at least we can have a laugh at the end
